DEAR SAFFRON.DEAR SAFFRON
DEAR SAFFRON.
Its been a while, Since I felt this overwhelmed, By the feelings that I cant fully name, Not because I actually cant, Rather they are mixed with bliss and dread, Thus don’t know for sure, If they are positive feelings, Or just my mind, my body, my soul, Just re-calibrating, After experiencing existence, For as long as I can remember.
Some part of me really wants you. Some part of me really need you. Some part of me really craves for you. Some part of me really wished that nothing, Absolutely nothing, Could keep us apart.
The logic kicks in. It says, It is impossible, For you and me, To experience reality, At the same time, At the same place, On each other’s side
Some how makes sense. But it is not what the heart says.
The heart.Ooh the heart. The heart wants what it wants. The heart wants to feel, Your warmth, Your love, Your presence, Your energy, Your personality, It doesn’t want to understand, That we don’t always get what we want, Tell that to the heart, Ooh, it makes the craving, the longing, stronger. As if I wronged it, And its punishing us. Oh my heart, take heart. But remember, Nothing lasts forever. Perhaps, she could be our nothing Dear heart, if she was our nothing, She would lasts forever.
I cant make up my mind, Whether I am obsessed with you, And its you I really want, Or how you make me feel. That’s a mystery. Perhaps I’ll solve it one day. Yeah perhaps.
An affinity. The affinity, that I feel for you, Couldn’t be more extreme. Sometimes, its extreme and overwhelming, But that’s the beauty of it, It makes me me feel, That you are worth. All the attention, All the affection, That I give you, though you are not aware of it, It’s intentional.
Ooh my dearest Saffron. If you could glimpse, of how, Of how I want you, Of how I enjoy your presence, Of how we chat and laugh,in my mind, Of how you are my definition of peace, Of how you make me appreciate love, Of how I crave the connection, The connection, that could be possible. If you could really know, How it would be a bliss for me, To finally, express my energy, my words, my thoughts, To such a peculiar soul.
All is not lost, Turned out to be my strength. Perhaps, fate Has some other plans.
How I wish, That it would just give me, What every quark in my collection of cells, Wants. Craves. Needs. Likes.
Ooh my dearest Saffron. I am too overwhelmed, With the idea of you, As part of my life, With knowing that we, Can become something. Something more, Than just two souls, That recognize each other, And do nothing about it. Such is life.
