Ted Hughes

Edward James Hughes (1930–1998) was an English poet and writer, regarded as one of the greatest poets of his generation. He served as Poet Laureate from 1984 until his death. Hughes was married to Sylvia Plath, and their relationship was both creative and tumultuous.
