I wandered lonely as a cloud

میں اکیلا بادل کی طرح گھوم رہا تھا

That floats on high o'er vales and hills,

جو اونچائی پر وادیوں اور پہاڑیوں کے اوپر تیرتا ہے،

When all at once I saw a crowd,

پھر اچانک میں نے ایک گروہ دیکھا،

A host, of golden daffodils;

سنہری نرگس کے پھولوں کا ایک بڑا گروپ؛

Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

جھیل کے پاس، درختوں کے نیچے،

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

ہوا میں لہراتے اور ناچتے ہوئے۔

Continuous as the stars that shine

مسلسل جیسے ستارے جو چمکتے ہیں

And twinkle on the milky way,

اور کہکشاں میں جھلملاتے ہیں،

They stretched in never-ending line

Along the margin of a bay:

Ten thousand saw I at a glance,

I gazed—and gazed—but little thought

میں نے دیکھا — اور دیکھا — لیکن زیادہ نہیں سوچا

What wealth the show to me had brought:

کیا دولت اس منظر نے مجھے دی تھی:

For oft, when on my couch I lie

In vacant or in pensive mood,

They flash upon that inward eye

And then my heart with pleasure fills,

Explanation
