Tu es plus belle et plus douce.

Explanation

This poem is a multilingual adaptation of William Shakespeare's Sonnet 18, which is one of the most famous sonnets in the English language. In this sonnet, the speaker contemplates whether to compare their beloved to a summer's day. The beloved is described as more lovely and more temperate than a summer day, which can be too hot or too fleeting. The poem suggests that the beloved's beauty is eternal and surpasses the transient beauty of nature. The sonnet is a meditation on the enduring nature of true beauty and love, as opposed to the temporary nature of the seasons. The multilingual versions in the text emphasize the universal appeal and timeless nature of Shakespeare's themes, as they resonate across different cultures and languages.
