Song

Song By Martha Collins

forgot to proofread my book failed to break a fall forgot to call my friend failed to answer the call

failed to challenge the state forgot to state the cause forgot the lost, the least failed to change those laws

forgot to welcome strangers failed to stage a coup failed to cool the earth forgot to follow through

remember now the call let cause infuse the song remember the lost, the earth let truth defuse the wrong

Song By Martha Collins

I forgot to check my book for mistakes I didn't manage to stop a fall I forgot to reach out to my friend I didn't respond to the call

I didn't question the government I forgot to mention the reason I forgot about those who are lost and the least I didn't change those laws

I forgot to greet newcomers I didn't organize a rebellion I didn't help the planet cool down I forgot to follow through on my promises

Now remember the call Let the cause fill the song Remember the lost and the earth Let the truth correct the wrongs
