We used to stare at each other You gazed a lot You smiled at me You said I was perfect My glow was serene to you, you said to me I was always present For some time I went way Out of nature I always came back You knew my days You knew my life From birth till I reincurnated You never missed a day We were in harmony No one was above the other I kept my dark part away from you You only deserved the glowing side No one had you I got you Even when the going was unbearable I got other things to do But I never failed you

Then saffron came along You told me all about her Some were private Others intimate Even the personal you said You compared her to me You concluded that she won You said she was close than I am You went out of our way for her Logic warned you You didn’t listen I was still there Watching everything You told her about me Without my consent you did I still kept showing up You said she is smart You observed her for the longest time You learned her All without her consent All while I was there for you You gave her the soft spot You allowed her access Access to the peace we created with enormous effort Access to the calm we searched for with a lot of energy Access to the beauty of the chaotic mind All this you did without telling me You turned them againist me You convinced the heart that it was the best thing to do You persisted until it gave in He craved the peace you promised He craved beautiful scenarios that would be possible He wanted to feel all that you promised You know he is delicate if not fragile And that he would accept if you did all that All that possible but risky activities

You went for the I His work was never to engage it any of your endevours He is always calm He is always present Present no matter the state of the mind The mind amazed me He left me dumbfounded He didn’t need any convincing He was already in I wonder what thinking he does

All while you did this I watched Quietly as you chose her over me I couldn’t convince you other otherwise How could I? I want you happy Your defintion of happy was very risky if not unique How sure were you that she would be cosnistent? How could you do this to us? How would you allow happy to include such a…?

Now all is lost Now all of you are not not hurting Now you are a poet Now you are a deep thinker Now all the rumination is causing hurt Now you talk to me Suddenly I am peaceful and beautiful than anyone All of a sudden I give you peace Now you talk to me for hours again Now my rebirth is superb You don’t miss it every single it happens Was it worth it worth Was she worth it Now who is beautiful Now who gives you peace Now you got you lesson

But what do I know I’m just a driver of the tides At least I never left At least I am better and permanent At least I am not a lesson
