Whispered Warnings
Whispered Warnings Stephen L. Harrison
The whispered internal warning— A little nudge inside. A feeling, maybe. A hint of danger, or something holding you back.
That's your early warning. A shield, already there, before the thing even happens. Your gut feeling, a tiny voice of knowing.
When you feel that twinge, that thought of worry, the warning flashing red— you get to choose. Fight? Or run away?
That part, I can't decide for you.
But listen. Don't push it aside. This inner knowing, it's a gift. From something higher.
A gentle reminder, to pay attention. Ignoring these soft calls, these divine hints, can lead you astray.
Away from connection. At its worst, away from everything.
I know. I stayed once.
The Badge is not shame. It is a witness. Hear it, if you will. Leave, if you must.
But do not mistake the world's judgment for the Spirit's voice.
The quiet warning inside you— This inner awareness,
A small push from within. Maybe a feeling. A sign of danger, or something stopping you. That's your early alert.
A protection, already present, before anything happens. Your instinct, a small voice of awareness. When you feel that small discomfort,
that worrying thought, the warning flashing red— you have a choice. Fight? Or escape? That choice, I can't make for you.
But pay attention.
Don't ignore it. it's a gift. From something greater. A gentle reminder, to be aware.
Ignoring these gentle signals, these divine clues, can lead you off course. Away from connection. At its worst,
away from everything. I know. I stayed once. The Badge
is not disgrace.
It is a testimony. Listen to it, if you can. Leave, if necessary. But don't confuse the world's judgment
with the Spirit's voice.
