আজ নতুন দিনে, সবাই নতুন হয়েছে পুরোনো ব্যাথা ভুলে। আমিও গা ভাসিয়ে দেবো তাদের স্রোতে? আমিও নতুন হতে চাই, ফের নতুন উদ্দীপনা ছেয়ে যাবে দেহ। কেউ আর পিছুটান দেবে না ডাকবে না পিছু হতে। আমি হয়ে যাবো কি অচেনা ভুলে যাবো সব কোনো মতে? এ যে সম্ভবপর হবে না না না কস্মিনকালেও না! আমি তখনো তোমাকেই চাইবো নতুন ভাবে,নতুন রূপে। আকাশের মেঘ বদলায় সখি নিচে জমিনে বৃষ্টি একই হয়! আমিও বদলে যাবো আশার ও হবে নবায়ন। তবে মোড়কের তলে সেই থাকবে,চিরকাল যা চেয়েছে মন! আমি মুসাফির হয়ে ঘুরবো আমার সফরের উদ্দেশ্য নেই। যদি পাই তোমার দেখা দূর নভোমন্ডলে,আমি আবার ফিরে পাবো মুক্তি যাযাবর জীবন থেকে!

Today is a new day,
Everyone has moved on, forgetting old pains.
Should I also go with the flow
Of their current?
I want to be new too,
New excitement will fill my body again.
No one will hold me back
No one will call me from behind.
Will I become a stranger
And forget everything somehow?
That won't be possible
No, never!
I will still want you
In a new way, in a new form.
Clouds in the sky change, my friend
But the rain on the ground stays the same!
I will change too
Hope will be renewed.
But beneath the surface, what
The heart has always wanted will remain!
I will wander as a traveler
Without any purpose for my journey.
If I see you
In the distant sky, I
Will find freedom again
From this wandering life!
