আমি রোদ হতে চাই,সে তুফান হয় আর ফেরেশতা হতে চাই,সে শয়তান হয়! আমি জান্নাত হতে চাই,সে জাহান্নাম হয় আর কিছু হতে চাই না,সে তামাম হয়! আমি তুলা হতে চাই,সে পাথর হয় একটু শান্ত হতে চাই,সে ঘূর্ণিঝড় হয়! আমি সাত আকাশ খুলতে চাই,সে বন্ধ হয় আর রঙ হতে চাই,সে বর্ণান্ধ হয়! আমি দূরে যেতে চাই,সে মন হয় আর কাছে আসতে চাই,সে কাল ক্ষণ হয়! আমি জড়িয়ে ধরতে চাই,সে কাঁটা হয় আর সরিয়ে দিতে চাই,সে মমতা হয়! এই লীলাখেলা আর কতদিন চালাবে তা খোদাই ভালো জানে!

I want to be the sun, but it becomes a storm And I want to be an angel, but it becomes a devil! I want to be heaven, but it becomes hell And I want nothing else, but it becomes everything! I want to be cotton, but it becomes stone I want to be a little calm, but it becomes a cyclone! I want to open the seven skies, but it closes And I want to be color, but it becomes colorblind! I want to go far, but it becomes the mind And I want to come close, but it becomes a moment of time! I want to embrace, but it becomes a thorn And I want to push away, but it becomes affection! How long will this play continue Only God knows well!
